I've always said, Brave is just Jane from Jane and the dragon plus all the other characters from How to Train your dragon.

...minus all the dragons.

I've started thinking of Merida as being what Jane will look like when she's around sixteen years old. I love these two, they're such cool, brilliant, fantastic girls.

I kept getting these two mixed up in my head before I watched Brave and was able to see more of Merida being her own seperate character.
